IT’S FALL Y’ALLLL! You know we go big celebrating holidays and seasons around here so, naturally, we decorate big too! I’m always the first on my street to decorate for any holiday and coming into this Fall season is no exception. As soon as a leaf hits the ground in my yard, I’m breaking out all the Fall and Halloween decor!
Last year I showed y’all how we decorated our front porch. This year, we really wanted to give the kids some fun, seasonal spaces. Starting with their playhouse outside, I knew I wanted it to screammmm Fall. From the colors to the textures and everything in between, making the kids playhouse fully embody “fall” was the goal… and we definitely achieved!
That’s a real picture of Ford and Shepherd after they saw the decorated playhouse… they just diedddd over it.
I am so obsessed with how this turned out! The mix of real and faux pumpkins create a textured look emphasized even more so by the luminary black and white pumpkins that keep it feeling young… which is perfect for kids. I love the small woven baskets with different Fall-colored flowers to help elevate the look as you walk up the stairs. Lastly, we already had these mini Adirondack chairs from Pottery Barn Kids and decided to rework them to fit the Fall/Halloween season by adding these fun skeletons that my boys just loveeee.
Who would’ve thought putting mums in a basket would be such a revolutionary thing! Y’all went crazy over them last year so you know I had to do it again. The woven baskets add such a fresh Fall feel to the already in-season mums. I got three different sized/textured baskets, all from Target, and picked up Fall-colored flowers to fill them from a local farmer’s market.
Halloween is the boys’ Super Bowl and now that they’re getting a little older, they are really into decorating their rooms for it. Shepherd took it upon himself to decorate his room this year so while I go touch up his interior design skills, here’s a peek into Ford’s room this season!
I am so obsessedddd with this haunted mansion scene we did on Ford’s dresser. I got the houses from Pottery Barn Kids and added some spooky trees that I found in the five-dollar section of Target along with a few faux spiders and webs to tie the whole scene together. This is my faveeee part of his whole room!
Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids have the cutest seasonal bedding and pillows so y’all just know I had to grab some for the kids’ rooms. Ford’s bed and couch turned out so cute and cozy with the perfect amount of Halloween flare.
So there you have it! Another year of Fall/Halloween decorating in the books. I hope y’all love it as much as I do!
