One of my favorite things to do for the holidays is decorate kids spaces. They’re the easiest to do and the most joyful recipients. I’ll show you the little touches here and there to make the tiniest spirits bright. Also reading holiday books are part of our tradition for any holiday but especially Christmas. So here is how I get my little guys ready for Christmas and decorate Ford’s bookshelf as I switch out the books for the most wonderful time of the year!
The boys love to read. I always love to grab some classics and also some newer Christmas books. I’ll link some of our favorites below.
- Dasher
- All the Colors of Christmas
- How to Catch a Snowman
- Little Red Sleigh
- The Night Before Christmas
- The Littlest Reindeer
- A Dolly For Christmas
- Merry Christmas Mom and Dad
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- Pick a Pine Tree
Styling a bookshelf can be so easy. I always love using a fun banner or two and draping them across the shelves.
I found this cute banner and used two on the bookshelves and one downstairs in the playroom.
- Stockings
- Gnomes
- Mini Felt Trees
- Letters To Santa Tin
- Puff Ball Banner
- White Gnomes
- Merry Pillow
- Red Truck
- Merry Christmas Banner
- Mini Tree
I love these trees because they add different textures and heights to any shelf or surface.
In the spirit of being fully transparent with y’all, Shepherd definitely sat on a blueberry before we shot this.
Christmas sheets are so easy and they an be such a fun piece in a toddler’s room. Plus, Ford LOVES seeing Santa and the reindeer before he goes to bed.
