Y’all know I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Especially these last couple of months, it feels like I live there. All the time, I get asked my favorite products so I wanted to do a post on a few of those along with a few I’ve added to my list of favorites during this coronavirus quarantine. I also love finding practical items that make your space feel pretty and fresh. So, I’ve got a few of those here too. From switching out a gold knob on a Le Creuset to choosing a marble cutting board vs the same old white one is a tiny change that can really bring your kitchen to life this spring.
- Le Creuset – If I was stranded on a deserted island and I could only bring 1 item (haha) it would be my 7.5 quart white Le Creuset dutch oven. It was perfect when I was cooking for 2 people and now when I’m cooking for 4. I cook everything from pastas to soups to whole chickens, I even boil eggs in it. This is a higher end item so it would be a great ask for a holiday, when registering for your wedding, or if you’re just looking for a great splurge, this is it.
- Lemon Squeezer – I put lemon in almost everything; from my water to my pasta sauce. This is my favorite lemon squeezer because it’s super sturdy and has an option for a larger lemon or a smaller one.
- Marble Utensil Holder – I registered for marble everything for my wedding three years ago. These pieces have traveled with me from my old kitchen to my new one and I still love these pieces.
- Silpat Baking Sheet – They say these are just for cookies, but I use them for everything.
- Marble Cutting Board – I love this new find and it’s under $12!
- Glass Soap Dispenser – I use one for hand soap and one for dish soap. I think they look nice on the counter and I refill them with whatever type of scent I’m loving at the moment. During springtime I love Myers pine scent and Frasier Fir scent in the winter.
- Gold Le Creuset Knobs – I love for my kitchen to feel pretty. Making little changes and buying cute items here and there can really elevate your space. I typically switch all the knobs on my Le Creuset to the gold knobs. They’re $16 and you can do them yourself.
- Berry colander– This is another thing that looks pretty in your kitchen but is also practical. When I come home from the grocery store I immediately empty my berries into these cute colanders I found from Crate & Barrel. They’re less than $6 and look great in the fridge.
- Pyrex 20-Piece Storage Set – During our time at home I’ve been cooking a lot more and saving leftovers since we can’t go out to restaurants. I bought this 20 piece piece storage set and have used it in a million ways in my kitchen. I love glass Tupperware vs plastic throw away. It’s better for the environment and looks nicer in your fridge.
- Bistro Bowls – I’m obsessed with these bowls right now for everything. I use them for salads, pasta, buddha bowls and basically anything under the sun. I found these during quarantine when we’re cooking almost every meal and don’t know how I lived without them. A set of 4 is $28 so you can’t beat that price.
